Itinerary

Pick up from Hotel Nairobi or Airport and leave for Lake Nakuru National Park. Stop over at the view point where you will be able to see the great Rift Valley which runs from Israel to Mozambique. Thereafter, leave for Nakuru park to arrive in good time for check-in and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark for game drive tracking the white and black rhino, tree climbing lions of Lake Nakuru and diversity of bird species. Return to your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Do an early morning game and return for your breakfast? Thereafter, leave for Lake Naivasha which is also located inside the Great Rift Valley to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, have optional activities at the lake whereby you can do a boat ride or visit the crescent island. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

After breakfast, leave for Masai Mara National Reserve to arrive in good time for lunch and rest. Embark for game drive in the afternoon; This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest's migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at the Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive.

Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara River. There is also an optional possibility to take a hot air balloon ride with an extra cost of $450 per person. "Take to the skies for the ultimate Masai Mara wildlife adventure, soaring in a hot air balloon over herds of game to the inner reaches of the Mara. You'll ascend in the early morning, when winds are calmest. You may optionally visit Masai village with an extra cost of $20 per person to experience traditional way of life of Masai people and also take a walk and dance with them.

What kind of animals can I expect to see?

The Masai Mara is famous for its abundance of wildlife. You’ll have the chance to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo), as well as cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, and many more.

Will I see the Great Migration?

The Great Migration happens annually, typically from July to October. If you’re traveling during this time, you’ll have a high chance of witnessing this incredible natural phenomenon.

What's included in the safari?

Most 3-day safaris are all-inclusive, covering transportation (including transfers from Nairobi if applicable), accommodation (lodge or tented camp), meals, park entrance fees, and guided game drives.

Where will I be staying?

On this trip you will be staying at Lake Nakuru Lodge, Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp and Muthu Keekorok Lodge. We can change the accommodation upon request.

How will we get around in the park?

Game drives will be conducted in specially designed 4×4 safari vehicles, perfect for navigating the terrain and offering excellent views of the wildlife.

Are there any additional costs I should be aware of?

Some things may not be included, such as drinks (other than bottled water), laundry services, tips for your guide and camp staff, and optional activities like hot air balloon rides.

What currency should I bring?

Kenyan Shilling (KES) is the local currency. However, US Dollars (USD) are widely accepted, especially on safaris.

Do I need travel insurance?

Travel insurance is highly recommended. It can protect you in case of unexpected events like flight cancellations or medical emergencies.
